.) Our group chose the word “Equality” since we thought it would be interesting to see what tone the writers were saying it with.
.) The word Equality appears repeatedly throughout essays in every volume of The New Freewoman.
.) The use of the word equality becomes much more aggressive in later volumes. It seems to shift from a call to action to an accusation.
.) We didn’t find what we were expecting. The shift in the tone of how the word was used caught us by surprise.
.) We didn’t find the word used in any of the genres metedata.
.) Both The New Freewoman and The Stolen Time Archives seemed very thrown together. It appeared obvious while reading both that they were very quickly made and by writers who were not “academic writers.”
