Library of Babel

After seeing we would be reading the “Library of Babel,” I sent Dr. Drouin an interesting online expirment on the library.

Jonathan Basile created an online version of the library, limiting the number of sequential characters to 3200 and expanding the alphabet to include 26 letters, plus spaces, periods, and commas.

Here is a video by Vsauce on Youtube where he explains how Basile got the library to work. It is extremely fascinating and a bit crazy considering that the majority of what we have posted and what we will or even can post are stored in that library.
